Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! With the undying support from his dear friends, the lessons and time they provided helped him succeed in reaching the goal of becoming a performer. After spending many hours, days, weeks, and now years practicing the styles and having much devotion to persist in perfecting the techniques used for live performances Frostbreaks is now leveling the dancefloors in cities across New England and out west! Working with companies such as SCORCHED AM, UNITED TEKNO RECORDS, SEQUENCED RECORDINGS, CAVELABZ ENT, CAFFEINE EVENTS, and Dementia 909 Frostbreaks has proven his technique of bringing a new sound that keeps the dance floor flowing with constant movement. His fondness of all genres from House, Electro, Progressive, Techno, and Minimal has given him the ability to try something new and funky which brings out his own favorite and personal style of Tech House, Funk, Techno, and Tribal blends. Frostbreaks has spun in cities all over MA such as his DJ birthplace of Springfield, Boston, Greenfield, Lowell, Northhampton, and Worcester. Frostbreaks has also performed in many venues in NY, CT, ME, RI, and AZ. His indulgence in underground parties has also brought him around the states for numerous unnamed events, where the vibe is real and the parties can’t get better! Memories made with my chosen family who have supported me throughout this journey know that I wouldn’t be here without all the support over the years! I started DJing at the age of 18, when my mother asked me if I want a driving licence for my birthday or a record player - I decided for the record player ☺ My idols were and are Todd Terry, Westbam, Gary D., Paul Oakenfold, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Matthias Heilbronn and many others. I spinned "live" at a few parties and at some clubs. I love all types of music, so I spinned "Salsa and Merengue" for a few years too - love the Latin vibe. My style depends on my daily mood ;)) House-Mixes is a great site to share our passion for music...keep the vibe alive ☺

Mikey G, notorious for his hard-hitting, unique sets, is a DJ from Birmingham, now living in Leicester, UK. Mikey grew up listening to a wide variety of dance music and was heavily influenced by the bass heavy music being played around the midlands. He gained a huge interest in Drum & Bass, Garage and Speed Garage. Having been to hundreds of dance events, he decided to learn to DJ himself and began honing his skills, and was soon booked to play at local club nights. He started playing at various Drum & Bass events around the UK and supported numerous big name DJ’s across the scene. He became interested in ‘Jackin House’ and ‘House & Bass’, new styles of music giving a fresh twist on the Garage tunes he grew up listening to. He began DJ’ing at events regularly across the Midlands and as his popularity grew, so did his busy Dj’ing schedule - which is now frequently jam-packed, playing for many various club nights in the House and D&B scene. In August 2015 Mikey was asked to play at the closing party at Summerfest, a world leading skydive event in Chicago USA. After delivering a 6hr non-stop marathon set, he didn't disappoint! Mikey regularly posts live mixes on his Soundcloud page which have gained a large world-wide audience and are eagerly anticipated by many. Hey fellow ravers I'm a self confessed raver with a needy appetite for anything funky, fidgety or just plane hard.. Been involved with techno since 1994 when i first started attending underground raves in jhb.. The industry has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm sure that back then it wasn't expected to last this long. I'm always glad to see just how many successfull dj's there are here on house mixes and value all the effort that goes into producing these masterpieces !!!! Attempted mixing myself back in 96 - 97 but fate and lack of money and a "small stretch" in prison put an end to that. I'm just glad that there are more talented and excellent dj's popping up out there. Until I'm too old to walk I'm gonna stay on this genre of music. My other passion in music is completely the opposite !! I have had the great fortune to see Metallica, Panthera, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse and Red hot chillies live over the last 15 years which are all still part of me.... What a mix up... Suppose could blame it on all the acid and E over my 10years of addction... Clean now, married and happy - isn't that what its all about !!

I first heard Plastikmans "Sheet One" in 1998 and this was my first exposure to EDM music (knowingly), from here I listened to just about everything from Frankie Bones "Technolo-G", to AK1200's "Fully Automatic", to the Delta Nine vs. Tron mixtape I had received from a friend. But it was Chicago House that really stuck with me and struck a chord. Terry Mullans "Mixed Not Stirred Vol.2" made me fall in love with the music and made me want to start playing music. By the age of 18 (2001) I had thrown my first event, although not nearly as well organized as now a days, it had it's moments. From seeing the looks on peoples faces having fun at my show, I knew what I wanted to do. Attending parties was fun, but seeing people happy at an event I put on, while networking with bigger dj's, and djing at said events made me the happiest. To this day I still listen to just about all genre's of EDM music, but I'm mostly a House / Techno enthusiest.I enjoy throwing down all varieties of House music with the majority lately being Funky, Tech, Acid, and even some Disco / Filtered styles. Essentially anything that has that nice Housey bounce that makes people just want to smile and get on the dance floor. It's all about the good vibes! From playing consistantly almost every weekend all over the state of Wisconsin, to playing in Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, and just about everywhere in between. In the past year and a half I've had the awesome experience of warming up the decks for the likes of: Kaskade, Green Velvet, Bad Boy Bill, Terry Mullan, Dara, Dieselboy, Mayhem, Kennedy Jones, Gramophonedizie,Gabriel & Dresden,Lee Combs, Nigel Richards, AK1200,Vaski, Woody Mcbride, and plenty of others.
